New blog

So wow, I've not been a missionary for over a week now. Being home is strange but I'm falling back into it pretty quickly. Have a phone, car, and hopefully soon my own computer again. Using the parents' isn't bad, but I'm not good at sharing computers and I can't customize it.

I've met up with Kourtney and Laurel, meeting up soon with RJ. Planning a trip to Emporia to see Megan and Matt. Still others to see. Hopefully it won't take long. Except those who are gone too far at college to roadtrip to.

I'm back at Applebee's again. I started yesterday and have my first 'real' shift tomorrow(thursday). Feels weird being back there.

Overall, it basically feels like I never left but just that everyone and everything has changed a little. As always in life when new chapters begin, it's sad to see friendships you thought were good begin to decay. Even sadder when there's not much you can do about it. Well, gonna cut that off before I get philosophical/depressingly thoughtful.

Hello everyone. Well, I'm just about finished with my mission. I can't believe, but either way it's here. I'll be in town Friday night about 8:00, probably will just be family time. I'll probably have some time Saturday if anyone wants to do something. I will be speaking in my church Sunday morning and I would love for -everyone- to come. If you are reading this, and I know you of course, -you- are invited! It will be at 9:00 am. I will hopefully be getting a cell phone saturday *crosses fingers* and I'll start letting everyone know what my new number is. Problem will be that I don't have many of yours any more so feel free to call my home starting saturday to get a hold of me. Alrighty, love you guys, can't wait to see you all.

Heylo everyone, just checking in a little bit. Utah is going well. The 100+ weather is finally gone. Which I'm very happy about. Never thought I'd be so happy about low 90s Turns out the pictures of my niece are on a private yahoo album, I'll see what I can do. There's only so much I can do with crappy library computers. I can't wait until I go home and have my own computer again.

Almost 22 months down, with a little over 2 left to go. My return date has been tentatively set for Friday, November 10th. Weird, but exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone, but it just seems like everything is completely different from when I left. I know it was naive of me to think everyone would stay in this little time bubble of unchangeness, but I could dream right? So, hopefully I can find a niche again and at least see you all again when I return and see where my lack of social structure sits.

But, at least I still have a few months before I have to worry about that :) Anywho, love you all, talk to you later.

Hey everyone! Finally I actually have some news to put on my Xanga! Because it's sort of mine but not completely. I'm an uncle! My sister Lori Keller and her husband Lucas Keller welcomed their first baby into the world Saturday the 22nd of July. Her name is Sydney Ann Keller and she's amazing. (I'll try to get links to pictures next week, I don't have the time this week.) Just thought I'd announce that.

Everything else is going amazingly well. Things here are just trucking along. Having tons of fun and enjoying myself. Also doing a few things in preparation for coming home. Nothing big yet as I have three months left, but little things here and there. I haven't heard back from one college yet(the one I'm really planning on going to) so I'll keep you posted on that.
